Details for the Avengers Plot!

Here are the details for the first, full MergeD avengers plot, just so we know where we're all headed.

 Part 1:

The Wrecking Crew and the Injustice League start stealing random bits
of technology.  The attacks seem unrelated, but there's no motive for
any of the assaults.  There can be a few such fights.  While the
heroes might theorize a connection between them, there's no proof...
yet.

Part 2:

One of the teams of baddies steals kryptonite.  While the villains get
away with the kryptonite, one of their number is captured.  The heroes
find out he's mind-controlled.  Using their various abilities
(tracking the mind-control signal, what have you), they find out that
the Leader has been controlling both the Wrecking Crew and the
Injustice League, and find his hideout.

Part 3:

The Leader unleashes BOTH villainous teams on the Avengers in defense
of his hideout.  This sucks.  Thankfully, neither team is fighting at
peak efficiency, because both are being mind-controlled, and the
Leader isn't directly overseeing their combat this time (he's busy
with something else).  The two teams are defeated!  Woo!

Part 4:

Unfortunately, they were just a delaying tactic while the Leader did
something.  He has managed to harness Kryptonian radiation to
pseudoscience explanation bonded to his gamma-irradiated body
pseudoscience explanation the powers of a Kryptonian!  With his
limited time, he's only got about an hour of power... but that will be
more than enough to destroy the Avengers!  The Avengers must battle a
Kryptonian-empowered Leader (who likely also took the time during the
big fight to fly to the sun for a supercharge, too, or something along
those lines, so he's at Superman level with just a few minutes of
solar absorption).

Part 5:

While the Avengers slow him down, fighting him in turns with serious
power, Iron Man simultaneously talks the scientific mind of Bobbi
Morse (aided by Black Canary and Green Arrow) through
reverse-engineering the Leader's device.  At the climax, Iron Man is
knocked out, meaning that Bobbi has to guess on the last couple steps
(really showing off the fact that she's a brilliant scientist in her
own right).  They have built a device that will act like a sponge, and will absorb the Leader's
powers, if they can just attach it to him.  By this point, most of the
Avengers are barely standing, and the Leader goes after Bobbi, Dinah,
and Ollie.  Dinah sets up the Leader for a shot, and Ollie attaches
the sponge to an arrow, hitting him directly.  The powers are drained,
and he is now easily subdued by the remaining heroes.
